SUPERIOR is a brand of Gruppo Piazzetta, a company that has been designing and manufacturing fireplaces and wood-burning and pellet stoves since 1960.

Superior is a historic brand in the biomass heating sector: its logo shines on the first pre-cast firebox, invented by the Milanese company in 1952.

This story of tradition and innovation convinced Gruppo Piazzetta to acquire the Superior brand in 1989 with the aim of relaunching it on the stove market.

Piazzetta introduces its technological developments in Superior products which thus achieve high levels of safety and quality, as evidenced by the strictest European certifications that the company collects year after year.

After more than 30 years from the acquisition by Gruppo Piazzetta, Superior presents itself with a range of products attentive to efficiency and sustainability, strengthened by the assistance services that characterize the Group and the experience gained in more than 60 years of activity .

Marchio ETL Listed

Conformity certification for product safety in the North American market (USA and Canada). The ETL Listed mark indicates that the product has been tested by an accredited laboratory (Intertek) recognised and accepted in the same way as the UL and ULC marks.

BAFA

Certification by the German Federal Office for Economics and Export Control for the promotion of efficient biomass energy use.

Flamme Verte

French label of the ADEME environment and energy agency. Flamme Verte certified products guarantee the best energy and environmental performance.

Kiwa

European institution based in the Netherlands, leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification.

Government agency, based in Berlin, whose main task is to test products and issue certificates on product quality and longevity.
